Nghe An Cancer Hospital

Nghe An Oncology Hospital (Nghe An Oncology Hospital) is an oncology hospital in Nghe An province and the North Central region. According to the Decision No 4599 / BYT-QD dated November 24, 2009 of the Minister of Health, the plan for development of cancer prevention network in the period 2009-2020 is approved; Nghe An Cancer Hospital is a hospital in charge of cancer prevention and treatment for people in the North Central provinces (including Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa) . To implement the Prime Minister's Official Letter No. 69 / TTg-KGVX dated 13 January 2010 on the construction of Nghe An Cancer Hospital; Chairman of Nghe An People's Committee issued Decision No. 3826 / QĐ-UBND dated 27/8/2010 establishing Nghe An Cancer Hospital. The hospital officially came into operation since 08/08/2011.

Since its inception, the hospital is located at 60 Ton That Tung, Vinh City, Nghe An Province; The hospital is promoting the construction of a new, modern hospital facility with a scale of 1000 beds in accordance with European standards on an area of 13.6 hectares from the Hungarian government's ODA with a total capital of 12 million USD. . The hospital has the function of receiving, examining, diagnosing and effectively treating all cancer diseases; Carrying out cancer prevention for the people of Nghe An and northern Central Vietnam; Deploy scientific and technological research programs and participate in the training of human resources specialized in cancer in this area.

The goal is to build a high-level cancer specialty clinic, to do well in cancer prevention in the region and to gradually develop into a cancer hospital nationwide.
